Carers' Support

At The Dementia Care Hub, we place equal value on supporting everyone within an individual’s  circle of care – from spouses and partners to children, friends and neighbours. If you are supporting someone to navigate their dementia journey, we are here for you.

Our monthly in-person Carers Cuppa groups provide an opportunity to meet with others in the same, or similar, situations and to provide support for one another through advice and problem-solving in a safe and confidential setting.

Carers’ Cuppa groups are led by Fiona Chaâbane, a clinical nurse specialist in dementia in the NHS, consultant Admiral nurse, and trustee of The Dementia Care Hub. They are also supported by Emma Golby-Kirk, director of the charity, and the local hub staff team.

The sessions are a closed space for carers only. We appreciate this can be difficult for some people to manage, and so we also offer monthly online Carer's Confidential one-to-one appointments by Zoom link.
