Wellbeing activity groups

Wellbeing Activity Groups offer regular weekly social contact for up to ten people living with dementia who attend independently of their care partners. The groups provide cognitive stimulation and emotional support for attendees, while also giving care partners a regular planned break. They can also help families begin the process of accepting help from others in case more formal care is needed in the future.

The sessions are run by a small team of Wellbeing Facilitators and committed volunteers and led by a Hub Manager who is experienced in person-centred dementia care and can support with advice and further referrals.
