Wellbeing groups

Our wellbeing group is for people living with a dementia. It is much like our social group in that it provides a social space for people living with dementia to chat and enjoy social time that is meaningful to them but in this group it is independent of their care partners. These groups work in two ways, they provide cognitive stimulation for people living with a dementia and a regular break for care partners. This is also an important step to provide an opportunity for couples to gently begin the care pathway by introducing other people into their lives, something that can be helpful when more formal care is needed.

The sessions are run by a small team of staff comprising our Meeting Centre - Centre Manager and Wellbeing Facilitators, also our amazing volunteers.

Why not join our facebook group to stay up to date with information and engage with our dementia and care partner community.
